Working principle
Car flashing lights mainly use electronic means, such as capacitors, single-chip microcomputer programming ICs, etc., to control the light source to flash quickly or slowly. There are usually two types of light sources:
High-pressure gas discharge lamp tubes: By filling the lamp tube with high-pressure gas, such as xenon, when a high voltage is applied to both ends of the electrode, the gas is ionized and conductive, forming an arc discharge, thereby emitting bright light. The advantages of this light source are high brightness and strong light penetration, but the disadvantages are long start-up time and relatively large energy consumption.
LED light-emitting diodes: It has the advantages of high luminous efficiency, low energy consumption, long life, and fast response speed. Different currents and pulse signals are applied to the LED chip through the control circuit to make it flash according to the set frequency and mode. Most car flashing lights on the market now use LED as a light source.
